If you’re like us you  cringe when you see a new 50 cent post nowadays.  Not to worry, we are here to bring you something fresh.

You may remember the post from a couple weeks back about the Astronote x DJ Graffiti Bigger and Better: Notorious Remixes. In our opinion it was one of the best Biggie remix albums produced in the wake of Notorious being released in theaters.

The mastermind behind the project, was up-and-coming producer Astronote.  His manager DJ Graffiti, “The Michigan Mixtape King,” who operates out of Ann Arbor, had this to say about the newest member of the A-Side family:

His production is crazy, he does many styles very well. Honestly, I think he produces different styles of Hip-Hop and R&B better than any producer I’ve seen.

Astronote’s most recent project are two remixes of the 50 Cent songs “I Get It In” and “Get Up.”  Needless to say the remixed efforts are a significant upgrade on the originals.

Be sure to stay tuned for more supurb production from Astronote and take the time to check out the work of DJ Graffiti HERE.  Word on the street is there is more heat still to come from the Biggie project as well.

As always we’ll keep you updated.  Take a listen to the tracks below and let us know what you think.

Interested parties should hit the jump for more news on upcoming events and general information on DJ Graffiti and Astronote.

DJ Graffiti and the whole A-Side crew will be down and SXSW in Austin, Texas at the end of March, so anyone heading down south to see the incredible line-up of perfomers make sure not to miss out.

For those faithful followers in the Michigan, and more specifically Ann Arbor area, DJ Graffiti teams up with DJ Benzi (Sky High mixtape, remember?) and others every Wednesday night, so if your looking for a change-up in your weekly S. University bar routinue be sure to check this out.
