In order to show family of some love, we need to take it mainstream for a quick second.

Sung Kang (THIS dashing individual), a main character of The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift and upcoming Fast and Furious, is actually a cousin to one of our writers. The latest installment of the famed street racing movies premieres this Friday.

Anyways, in honor of the movie’s upcoming debut, we bring you two tracks from the soundtrack.

Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo (2/3 of N.E.R.D.) actually produced seven of the tracks … so you’re promised to be hit with some ferocious beats and catchy-as-hellĀ  hooks.

So take some time and support our family this Friday.

You should know this by now.

LV Stephen Sprouse Collection.
January 6, 2009

Hip hop and high fashion.

We’ve been given brief glimpses at the connection between the two throughout the past … and we can mainly thank Louis Vuitton for having the balls to make those connections.

First Pharrell was seen in LV spots as he promoted the line that he helped to design. The other day, Kanye “The Louis Vuitton Don” gave us a look at the new shoe he’s designing with LV.

Now, the company is releasing a graffiti-designed skateboard and traveling case to celebrate the new Stephen Sprouse collection.

For a measely $8,250, the monogram skateboard trunk and skateboard can be yours. Act fast, though. They’re only making three of them and they’ll all be sold in the Louis Vuitton SoHo store on Greene Street.

In addition to the trunk and board, LV will be completely revamping its SoHo boutique and selling other items like the “Roses” shirt (only 70 will be made and each wil go for $250).

Sprouse actually passed away in ’04.

You should know this by now.
